The longer we wait to assist Iranians in winning their freedom, the more dangerous the muslim extremist leadership becomes.

Right now it appears that President Bush is getting things ready to help Syrians win their freedom and leaving Europe to bungle Iran. After all is done, the US will be able to point at the UN, the AOC and Europe and correctly state that they have no value.

After all their neighbors are democracies, Iran will have a more difficult time maintaining their status as a thugocracy.

One expert said not to minimize the acquisition of nukes as deterrence to the West on intervening when they begin a crackdown on liberal forces in iran. And it certainly would be once nukes are obtained. The time for that rebellion with western support in some form may be the first casualties of a nuclear iran. Thus the students et al should be planning for immediate action but that doesnt seem likely either.
