Holly, Verizon has a package the combines a lot or features that add up to a lot less than those features by themselves, and that includes voice mail. Now they have all of the optic fibers in the ground, and will soon offer, and no additional cost, double the speed on DSL, and also offer a TV system that will be far better, and less money, than conventional cable. My wife doesn't like to answer the phone unless she knows the caller either, but I kind of get a kick while reading those people the riot act, and if they try to keep talking, I tell them how the cow ate the cabbage, in no uncertain terms.
