I saw a lot of racial idiocy from thread people against the Chinese and I responded to it. You saw none from me. I have worked with and for persons of Chinese heritage. The CEO of the start-up I worked for was Chinese. He picked me particularly for the work he wanted done. My neighbors on both sides are Chinese. One husband is in biotech; the couple on the other side are both dentists. They are fine neighbors and have been helpful more than once. I simply commented on the difference between Communism and Chinese Individuals. I think those Chinese Individuals are being screwed by a bunch of goons in control. If they can break the yoke, as the Russians have, they may have a chance of a good life. The stupidity of prejudice against a racial, ethnic, or religious group should be self-evident. Hitler sent us a good number of talented physicists who worked on weapons here that helped defeat him and the Japanese. Our handyman is a Russian PhD (!!) in engineering. After he left the USSR (that's what it was then), he started and sold several companies. Basically, he's filthy rich BUT his wife told him he was going to get out of the house! And we got the benefit- -a very intelligent, reliable person to take care of household repairs I don't want to do or don't know how to do. Off to the Casino Don't forget your barrel! :-)
