Maybe those estimates discount a rising tide in the storage sector. Buying StorageTek could prove out to have been a shrewd move.

I hope people realize it's likely to drop after the earnings announcement regardless of whether that announcement is good or bad.

If it's bad, the stock will drop for obvious reasons.

If it's good, there will probably still be a lot of speculators "taking profits."

The one exception might be if they blew the doors off, but I don't think that's likely.

The time to buy was when it was in the mid 3's (not that long ago).
