Thanks for the insight. You have pointed out a different perspective.

The Jewish religion and the Christian religion are energized by humans. Many atrocities have been committed in the name of our God. Contemporary Christianity represents a tolerant religion. Contemporary Jewish religion in Israel seems to support Realpolitic in which an eye for an eye is vital. In the US, it does not recognize the danger posed by apologists and weakness.

I am not aware of a consensus among biblical writers supporting the murder and subjugation of non-believers. Muslims seem to be united in the practice of intolerance. the Dhimi, the rape of Australian girls, the sacking of Paris, the murder of Dutch. Where is the condemnation of these atrocities by the muslim leaders? A religion condemns that which does not represent its beliefs. That which is accepted is assumed correctly to the values of those leaders.

Rome managed to die out because it did not allow enough immigrants to replace the population while the Romans were engaging in non procreative relationships. In short they screwed themselves. The US continues to move in the same direction.

History book authors must write to the market that consumes books. If they remain accurate about history, the biased partisan teachers will select another text if allowed to.
