I think as long as the law says money = speech, little can be accomplished. Politicians get elected by speaking the most and the loudest, so they'll always be for sale.

We need a SC that will say money IS NOT equal to speech. Imagine a world where you had to do a little digging YOURSELF to find out who to vote for!

then you have a fairly clear 1st amendment problem.

I think it will be determined that those cases were wrongly decided. You may have a right to say what you want, but you don't have a right to say it though a megaphone in the middle of the night. Advertising is more about the megaphone than the speech.
