"Keep dreaming that your terrorist friends really aren't dangerous and that Saddam was pure as the driven snow."

They aren't my friends, where on earth did you get that impression? Provide a single link where I posted anything in their support.

Sorry, any links between Saddam and Al Qaeda have been debunked many times. Which made sense, bin Laden had Iraq on his list of regimes to be toppled at number 2. Saudi Arabia was number one.

There were some rumors that Saddam wanted to use Carlos the Jackal during Gulf War I, but they didn't seem very credible then, much less now.

It is true that at one point, Saddam was offering money to the families of Palestinians who died while attacking Israelis. But that probably had more to do with the general admiration of Palestinians-just-as-long-as-we-don't-have-to-do-anything feeling that is common in the ME.

Look at it rationally. What possible use could trained hijackers be to Saddam? Sooner or later, they would be traced back to him. Running a terrorist network doesn't keep you from being invaded, just the opposite. His goal was to dominate the region, not get himself killed. Supporting terrorists is for the idealistic.

Keep feeding on your paranoia; it will make you crazy.
