The vast majority of the world's people certainly opposed the invasion as did many governments. But this governmental opposition was not strong enough for them to oppose the invasion in a serious way and condemn the US as an aggressor. And as the case of Germany shows many of them probably secretly cooperated with the US in various ways.

In fact to be blunt China and Japan have essentially financed the US invasion on the cheap. The US never could have carried it off while sustaining a booming economy and financial markets without this support.
