I think everyone is well aware of the duplicity of the DPRK. The only point of my post was to question why your post suggested that the IAEA was to blame. If the US was hoodwinked it wasn't because of the IAEA. They consistently reported on the failure of the DPRK to honour the Agreed Framework or the NPT.

As far as the Bush Adm "calling them out," I'm not sure that has helped in any way to resolve the situation.
