Thanks Mark that was a great review. I agree with your conclusion - the formula is for neophytes to attempt to imitate Buffett. But if you already understand Buffett and do it, you don't need the formula as a formula doesn't think and an intelligent investor does.

As far as rarebird's quote is concerned - where did that come from??? Is Essentialism allowed on this board?
