CALP munches XGEN: Message 22160825 A somewhat odd fit in my view, but the Street likes the deal. XGEN is up 30% as I type, and CALP, which appeared to be trying to find a bottom, is up 8%. XGEN was an odd fit for almost anyone. Mice and instrumentation inextricably wedded to each other. Could be the end markets are more closely related than I think. Since I'll probably sell my Mom's position in XGEN, I guess I'll listen to the CC from the POV of her position in CALP. How does this help them? Where's the synergy? Cheers, Tuck
