Whoaa!!! SoT, do you realize that you are letting on to the dreaded CCP, with spy Yiwu the Mad watching closely, that in fact TJ [whose real name we should not mention to maintain his secrecy from the CCP] is one of US??!! That is very very dangerous. You could get him in a lot of trouble in such a land of freedom. <We all hope and I know that you believe that eventually all Chinese people will have the same freedom.>

What the?! Freedom like Taiwan? Freedom like NZ? Hong Kong?

You do NOT know that TJ believes Chinese people will have freedom. I deny that he has ever said such a thing. He must be protected against the dreaded CCP who might mistakenly think you know something about TJ's ideas on political freedom, which he rightly points out, he has in spades, wayyyy ahead of we down-underites.

Let's hope Yiwu the Mad is busy getting further instructions from HQ and doesn't notice your blunder. Remember, loose lips sink ships.

seeker, i definitely think the mainland will take on more and more of the characteristics of hong kong, and that is why i am alarmed at the prospects for my coconut ... the competition will be savage, unleashed.

hong kong is hong kong because of the people AND the system, whereas britain is britain because of the people AND the system.

freedom of expression is alive and very well in hk, unless one actually chooses to believe the Wall Street Journal.
