What choice did he have? The stock was tanking on news that Stern was bailing on his shares; Mel could sit and watch the rest of his shares continue the sharp decline, or put in a few million and get it back? What's he going to do?

Mel's trying hard; he just has a difficult situation.

What's interesting is that you were just as supportive of the previous management, which was as crooked as the day is long.
