At times I can get my heart rate... which at rest is 70 up to 155..... Almost too much. I like to keep it at about 125 which is in the range for my age and weight..Great piece of equipment. However, the latest statistics for bone density is to pound muscles.. So the treadmill is still something I work on too as it pounds the feet.. The PREVENTION MAGAZINE article I read said it is better to walk on cement than on a track or grass. But, hard on old knees that have had surgery as mine have.
