tejek, here is the defintion of paranoia 1. A psychotic disorder characterized by delusions of persecution with or without grandeur, often strenuously defended with apparent logic and reason. 2. Extreme, irrational distrust of others. So my posts could not be characterized as paranoid precisely because Iran has given the entire world every reason NOT to trust it. So much so that the EU 3 have recommended referral to the UN Security Council. The difference between your reaction and mine is not that I see the president of Iran as a good ole boy that's just blowing off steam. Like you, I do recognize he's a problem. Where we differ is how we react to his behavior and start to look at a solution to that problem. He doesn't invoke the fear, and yes, paranoia in me that he does you. If anything, you behavior is characteristic of extreme, irrational TRUST of others (Iran and Saddam) who simply do not deserve your trust. You really can't see how you come off, can you? You are near hysteria over this tin can leader in a third world country that is years away from having nukes........all the while sitting in the middle of the most powerful nation in the world. Do you really believe that that is an example of rational behavior??? Given the circumstances, do you really think that is a logical way to view things? This hysteria and paranoia has got to stop before WE, not Iran, blows up this world.
