Wrong. Schiavo was not reacting to anyone in particular. She could not see or think. She was reacting with one small part of her brain, without consciousness. Like a moth reacts to light maybe. She had been braindead for 15 years. Only a trial attorney suing for medical malpractice (something Bush says he's against) made the money to keep her alive all those years.

Not so , I will not say how I know but I know people who cared for Terry Schaivo; particularly one person who was directly and physically involved in her care for a short while and I know several others who worked at the Hospice and had some exposure to Schaivo; all say she was brain dead. Two people still work there so this is all I can relay. I live about 12 miles from the facility, My wife works with elderly and has worked at the Suncoast hospice.. PS this is my son's account. my name is different , but i will not reveal it.
