Glad someone could help you because I have never run into that. One thing I have found better than a CDRW discs is a USB Jump Drive.

For about 70 bucks you can get a 1 GB drive, all you do is plug it in and drag and drop.

Casaubon, are you backing up photos? The "Thumbs.db" file may have been created by a digital camera. I routinely ignore it when I backup with no ill effects on over 8000 images.
