Smoking marijuana is no more dangerous than drinking, and when kids try it out, they wonder what the heck the problem is. taking marijuana out of the hands of the gangsters and putting it in the hands of alcohol retailers means that the strength can be standardized, the huge profits go to the government and much of the basis of the drug industry goes down the tubes. Much like the end of prohibition caused the Kennedy's and the Bronfmans to move into new businesses.

I was simply noting some excellent thoughts in Peter's post.

"AND people don’t develop lung cancer because they recreationally smoke only marijuana?"

Some develop lung cancer when they have never smoked anything, such is life my friend. Not for me to sit in judgement.
