I looked at goldmoney.com. There was a businessweek article about egold.com which apparently is used by all the con artists. Goldmoney.com was also mentioned in the article but as the more reputable sibling of e-gold. I think these guys are too dangerous and opaque. Plus Isn't the whole point of physical gold to have personal control rather than a promise?

I have used tulving.com , golddealer.com, apmex.com. But they are internet based and no way to avoid a long wait (even with next day shipping it takes a week or so for me to get it- They can only send by insured US Post and I have to wire them money - All in all fair amount of hassle)

I would prefer a local dealer ( in New York city) but so far have not found anyone that is reasonable.
