Well M my doggies are always under control... They are a job just like children.. but they really motivate to get out and do a lot of exercise I like... Not one for the treadmill or gym. Nothing worse than owners that don't control their animals... They should have their a$$es sued.. Ours dogs don't run loose anywhere around little kids either.. They are not vicious but they are rough and strong and you are right ... one never knows.. Actually that is while I walk them often at odd hours...

Funny you mention about other kids... My son was bitten by the dog of one of his friends while he was playing there... It is a small dog (typically the worst behaved) but the parent did not even tell me.. I noticed a mark at bath time.. He told me .. yes it hurt, yes I cried, yes his friend's mom knew.. I was pi$$ed off.. It wasn't serious but it could have been... Their dog does what it wants.. whenever... A dog is a big responsibility... if you are not up to it... get a pet rock :O) She got a piece of my mind but that's all ...

Al

Lynda Fisher - All Headline News Staff Writer

Fremont, California (AHN) - A police officer who was escorting a teenager home after a traffic stop was attacked by an angry pack of Chihuahuas Thursday.

The five chihuahuas had escaped from the teenager's home and attacked the officer in the doorway. The teen had been detained after the traffic incident.

The officer suffered minor injuries, including bites to the ankle, and returned to work only a few hours after the incident.

Alladin - Sorry to hear about your kids' dog bite. He sounds stoic, however. The friends mother who did not call or do anything about the bite - sounds like she should be on Jerry Springer or Dr. Phil.
