The primary value of Ewave - in my opinion - is that the shape of waves permits one to distinguish between trending and corrective price action No argument here. The metaphor about the black box does not add very much to the concept, imo. There is, of course, always an input, which is the outside world. Individuals transform that input into a pattern of responses which fit their "character". The same goes for collective unconscious - the "social mood". And the pattern happens to correspond to Elliottian "robust fractals". Your schematic seems to imply that the determining influence comes from outside stimuli. Otoh, I happen to think that all throughout history - and under most different circumstances - human social moods went through the same ups and down... following the same patterns.
