I think somebody should blow up their nuclear facilities if it's feasible to do that cleanly and effectively. From what little bit I've read about that, it may not be feasible.

I also think that we should encourage or at least avoid alienating Iran's modernists, of which there are apparently quite a few.

Beyond that I don't know enough to have an opinion.

I don't recall seeing anyone advocate invading Iran. I can thik of no useful purpose in that.

It was interesting to see on 60 minutes how sure the North Koreans are that we will invade them...

I don't like Israel having nukes, but I've never suggested we attack them because they have them. I will take the same position WRT Iran. I don't see that I need to decide anything, or that we need to make up a huge crisis about this (as we did with Saddam- this territory is SO familiar, and stupid). Iran isn't going to use nuclear weapons- since the US would destroy their country if they did. Israel has the weapons, and Iran wants them too. Israel shouldn't dictate who gets to have nukes (which would go something like "We, Israel, should have them, and no one else in the ME should"- yeah, that's going to appeal to everyone), and the US doesn't have much business protecting Israels hegemony.
