If you find out where Tim Goodale died, please advise....We're doing a big research project, and still don't know. He was a frontiersman, guide, etc and Kit Carson and Jim Bridger and Tim knew each other, and did some work together....

I can relate to your sisters story! I was sitting with my brother in a bar in a casino a couple of years back and got into a conversation with a nice young couple that mentioned they were from a little city in Pa called Wilkes Barre". I went off with a 1 hour history session about their area, covering the last 250 years. I told them how their valley was originally given to Connecticut by King Charles and then the king turned around and gave the same land to William Penn, causing the Yankee-Pennemite war, I told them about the Wyoming Valley Massacre during the American Revolution and it's repercussions, I told them how the town was named after John Wilkes and Isaac Barre, and went on, and on, and on.... When I was done I noticed that they were both staring me right in the eyes, with their mouths agape and in a state of shock, and I said "I don't know why I always do that!". My brother, sitting next to me, said "I've known him for ove 50 years, and I don't know HOW he always does that!". The young fella said "I've lived there al my life and I didn't know ANY of that stuff!"
