Children are filled with wonder for much of their day. They marvel over the computer just as they do a globe. It is just more mundane than it would have been in our youth.

I can just see our parents building a house down the street from Eniac. <g>

I just purchased my middle boy his first computer from Dell. I got a Diminsion 5150 with a 17" flat panel monitor for less then $600.00 It was on their web site as a hot offer for this past weekend. He's thrilled the he now has one of his very own and doesn't have to share. He does realize that there are going to be severe restrictions on the internet but there always has been.
