Amy, Your comments are right on and I have to agree with Elroy too about the "Edge". Burglar alarm companies should be doing more with the web and that area of application is RIPE for many connections to the Internet. Compression schemes have a long ways to go. I look at my Direct TV picture and just GROAN. Such poor video quality! Just wait until HD forces NTSC video off of everything. Bandwidth demands will explode.. THAT will drive up Internet traffic hugely! The Picks and Shovels that Cisco sells will take off. There is just no other choice.......... Had a private message a few months ago that I believe you sent me but I accidently erased it! Eric
