Here in the US, we have Washington DC. - spivs and bludgers without the benefit of the authentic local art scene you find in Wellington. Thank your lucky stars that neither Helen Clark or her opposition is determined to bankrupt the NZ Treasury with pointless invasions of various other nations and new "homeland security" schemes for NZ residents to spy and inform on their neighbors and business associates. Washington DC could benefit from a group of ratbags with fewer ambitions. .
