On the other hand I'm very proud of the true American liberal values of tolerance, freedom, help and understanding for the needy, unprivileged and poor, and balanced coexistence with our environment. Funny thing is... I admire the same values. The apparent difference is that I am willing to fight to support those values so that they are available to others who are prevented from enjoying them by Marxist and Islamo-Fascist totalitarians who believe they have the right to determine what rights inviduals are permitted to possess, as well as who is politically deserving of receiving the benefit of government social programs. I also believe that government's role is to restrain and moderate capitalism so that it is harnessed for the good of the people overall. Government's role is to insure that the maximum number of people, if they so desire to excel and economically advance themselves, have the ability and opportunity to do so based upon their merit and ability, not merely because they are assigned a quota based upon their ethnicity, religion, or political affiliation. You would do well to stop being so partisan, and how BOTH SIDES of the political spectrum accountable to advancing the freedoms and goals embodied in our constitution. For BOTH sides, left and right, are extreme and are guilty of abusing our values for their own parochial benefits. It is the logical, pramagtic, and tolerant individuals who must dedicate themselves to preserving those values and not getting caught up in "banners" and petty political partisanship. Hawk
