It's no big deal really, IMHO.
Just like cell phones, 4-8 mfg's rule the market eventually...nobody runs away with it.

It's been about 3 years since I posted here and only return today because I remember your affection for golf. Pat, I suggest you take a look at EGLF ( I know you love the indicies) They just received USGA approval for thier new clubs that claim 10-15% greater distance and accuracy via a patented alloy material. People are expecting a big announcement this week at the golf manufacturers show.
