Hello Pezz, Early morning report:

Came back from Liberty Island Macau, attending meetings, without having enjoyed any of the liberties on offer, crashed, woke up, checked the score, took measure of the temperature, did nothing but pondering on the difference that ought to be obvious, between freedom and rights, and went back to bed.

Will shuffle more cash from USD to CAD & Baht, in preparation for more USD in take.

Standing ground, buying nothing on the paper liability exchanges, and selling nothing in the paper asset market place, as would a hunter stalking dead-bang goners.

Which reminds me, and I must let Crabbe know, I have held a gun while in HK, though I am not sure it required a license. It was a rifle, and a bunch of us were hunting boars in the New Territories while the cool drinks waited for us back on the boat.

Chugs, J

Hello Pezz, Today’s Report:
We are only a few days away from Lunar New Year (Year 4703, of the Dog sign, starting January 29th) celebration and holiday, starting January 27th, and ends February 6th. This is the time of the year where much of Asia will shutdown and people spend the time to visit with family and friends or do vacation travel with same and same.

We will have a company luncheon tomorrow, and my partner and I will pass out red envelops stuffed with gold coins to our staff, to wish them much happiness and plenty of prosperity.

While buying the gold coins for the staff, I could not help myself, and so exchange more paper money for about a dumbbell’s weight of what Maestro Greensputin understood and still understands as FREEDOM.

Yes, I know gold is at an interim high, and very dear indeed. The spot price is not relevant to the program buying. This is my yearly tradition, obtaining a dumbbell’s weight in 1 oz gold Panda coins of each current year, so that others may not have it.

I am marking half of the acquisition as my super double secret inner reserve, a private treasury hopefully never to be used; the other half is marked for the Coconut’s birthright, which she will not catch wind of until whenever, to be kept safe from the three scourges of all dads (officialdom, creditors, and daughter’s boyfriends).

Interestingly, while ambling on the street, a banker accosted me. He just got done buying some physical gold. What is the world coming to?

Chugs, J
