tejek, the clear message coming from this country HAS TO BE that if you are a terrorist, there is nowhere you can hide. In old style warfare, our enemies were nation-states and as such, you could hold them directly accountable. In asymmetric warfare, the enemy can really do damage because they have all sorts of weapons at their disposal. One of those is blending with sympathetic civilians and then claiming that we targeted civilians when we go after them. So my message is if you support terrorists and invite them to dinner then don't be surprised if you get bombed as collateral damage. Man, aren't you the big guy......all pumped up with your nukes and drones and Uzis. You need to add to your warning that you better know who your neighbors are inviting to dinner because you may get taken out along with them by the big, bad US of A. The statement, citing the chief official in the Bajur region where the Damadola is located, said its findings were from a report compiled by a "joint investigation team" but gave no specifics on who was included in the team. Interesting that you assume all of this is true after all the misleading garbage and the mistakes made by the Bush people. But its natural that you want it to be true so there can be no guilt over the deaths of 18 people who may well have been innocent and had nothing to do with any invitations. Of course, the world's takeaway was that 18 innocent people were killed but let's not worry about that......what's collateral damage among friends. Oh wait, wasn't 9/11 collateral damage and didn't we become enraged??? What happens when the world gets to that level of anger? Things should get very interesting.
