I am leaving & I am not waiting . Currently I am a Brownco customer and I am bailing to Fidelity.

I have a small Coverdell account at Harris for my daughter college fund and I have experienced exactly the same problems people here have had ie :

1. Can't access my account eventhough I received a package from Etrade with account# & password.

2. Can't get through on the phone. I waited for 20 mn before giving up.

So I am going to Fidelity where I already have an account.

The rep acknowledged the problems you and others have expressed. Whether or not his laying the blame on Pershing is blowing smoke, I will give ETrade a shot. I do have the reps name and a special phone number to reach him.

As I said before, we shall see.
