I like the area cause it's pretty cheap to live, pretty southern in culture outside of the university students, good lakes to fish in, not too far from the gulf at cedar key, cheap eats, decent access to movies, plays and art, gator basketball and football, beaucoup free tennis courts and racquetball courts. Only downside is the summer ... only place I've lived where you can sit there perfectly still, not moving a muscle, and be drenched in sweat within twenty minutes.
