They charge half of what we do, which is what our clients see, we need to make them see it also takes them 2 or 3 times as long to do the same work, or often the work quality is less, but accepted because the billing rate per hour is cheaper

Wholeheartedly agree. You get what you pay for. It will take a bit for companies to figure this out. In the meantime, we need to make sure that Engineering doesn't become a field that no one wants to enter.
