"Frankly, if I were in Elroys position, I wouldn't be posting here."

Personally, I agree.

Frankly, if I were in Elroys position, I wouldn't be posting here. With the current trend in government, I have often wondered if I should post my (pretty tame) opinions.

In my position? Enjoying beers at the US embassy and then about to go to sleep? If anyone is monitoring me we need a tax cut!

re: Exactly. Much of what I have posted was tongue in cheek. But the reality is that we almost certainly have been swept up into the monitoring. Which is startling. About the only thing any of us are a danger to is each other's blood pressure. Except for Elroy and the OVTI shorts, that is...

If they are monitoring Quakers in FLA and anti war protestors in CA, its probably too late to worry about it. The thing is there is so many complaints about the Bush administration, it will take them a millennium to read all of it. In fact, just about every yahoo board breaks out into Bush fights about once every two weeks. And if you lived in a strongly blue state.....you would be stunned at how much anti Bush stuff is on cars, buildings, freeway overpasses and houses.
