"Terrorism" CAN'T 'beat us'... it isn't capable of it, the groups employing terrorism never had anything like that kind of power and they never will. Bin Laden never had anything like that kind of power. Only WE can beat ourselves. (And the surest way to do that is to play dumb, shoot ourselves in the foot, play into their hands by doing exactly what they want us to.) Bin Laden WANTS us to restrict freedom in America, lose our birthright in a Totalitarian crack-down, driven by irrational fear. He even SAID so in his first broadcast videotape right after 9-11. Remember his words (and don't fall into the trap of doing for al Qaeda what they are totally INCAPABLE of doing on their own): Word-for-word, from bin Laden's broadcast tape: "The American government and the West will lead the American people into an unbearable Hell and a choking life. Freedom and Human Rights in America are doomed."
