I will never have enough time to read all that. Kinda like reading Shades.

That guy's site reminds of a fellow I met while I was hiking Lassen peak a few years back. At the top, I was talking to a father-and-son pair who lived in Redding. They told me two things: go hike Castle Crags State Park; his son hiked up (really ran up) Shasta in just a little over two hours.

I did hike in Castle Crags, and I highly recommend it. I also climbed Shasta, and I can't figure out how he did it in two hours, but he's not the only one!
