Iraq had nothing to do with Al Qaida or any terrorist groups which were threatening the US. It had no WMD, no air force, no artillery to speak of, just a lot of old bombs which Bush left unguarded during the invasion so that insurgents (whom we created by invading) would use them against us. 2150 US troops are dead as a result and there's no end in sight. Some say this war will cost a trillion dollars. And it was against the wrong country. Much more terrorism came out of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan.

Plus Bush was planning to invade Iraq before 9-11. Bush ignored the 8-6 warning and let 9-11 happen. Either dereliction of duty or he did it intentionally. WOuldn't hold it past him. Look how much power Bush has been able to stealk with that one Al Qaida strike. Osama is his best friend. Maybe why he's failed to capture him.

You do not set out to eradicate flies with a fly swatter by waiting for a fly in the cleanest room in the house. Instead you use insecticide to kill flies where they breed.

This is not rocket science.
