but it is not impossible for the stock to be manipulated to 35 for Friday 4PM.

I bet we have a repeat on Thursday of what aleph0 described in this message:
Message 22074192

That we open high and the price gets beaten down all day.

I hope it doesn't happen, but I'm going to be ready to "back up the truck" at 35.5. tomorrow. Portfolio balancing be d*m*ed.

-Magrathea

Edit:
And the manipulation may have already begun:
at 060119.0111 EST, my Ameritrade Streamer Portfolio list shows for AMD:
“Last: of 33.37, BID:37.73 ASK:37.84,
which disguizes a $4 AH run as a $1.50 AH loss.

The Streamer chart shows nothing of the kind. But it does show

Do other services show that rediculous LAST quote:

BTW, I have saved a screen shot of the Account portfolio page and the extended hours 1 min streamer chart.

3.4M shares worth? That's nothing.

Could it be possible that the AH activity was manipulated by the "big" Options writers. By buying/selling to themselves?
Driving the price up might bring on more (hedging) Puts, and then the price suddenly drops by tomorrow/Monday ?
Just a thought !
