Bush's economy has been completely driven by deficit spending, war spending and the real estate boom which was created by Greenspan lowers interest rates to the ground. According to man, "all bets are off" if the real estate market starts nose-diving.

One thing we know, it is preposterous to believe that people who bought with no money down at the top of the market can continue putting up 40% of their salaries for mortgage payments. Yes it is a bubble waiting to be burst. Let's hope it's a gradual burst, not a sudden one.

The war may cost us as much as 2 trillion. That's another disaster in the making. The debt load Bush will leave us is so huge nobody knows what to do about it.
