Surfing around today I found a contribution to "Attack Iran? We're Ready"blogs.washingtonpost.com Scary stuff on these links. "The foreign policy objectives have been stated, planned and are currently being executed according to PNAC. That is clear and cuts through the BS. globalresearch.ca crisispapers.org pnac.info And their own site: newamericancentury.org Although many of PNACs objectives could be viewed as acceptable on the surface, the objectives are belied by hidden agendas in the execution. The problem with agressive approaches that are taken on which hypocritically undermine our constitutional principles is that we lose clarity on our original objectives as a nation and do little to build strength of other nations that also strive for those principles. The PNAC objectives are being thrust forward by a wealthy few ~<2% of the US population and are the direct beneficiaries of establishing global control in such a manner. Many of those elite who are pushing this approach are so multi-national that they do not have the interests of Americans or any other people on their priority list. In the process of alienating the rest of the world, Americans need to keep in mind that we are only ~4% if the world population and demand a big chunk of resources to support our lifestyles. Although I believe our gov't to be the best form of government because of our underlying principles, I cannot very well expect other people's/ nations to aspire to those principles or cooperate if we do not maintain integrity. Hidden agendas do nothing to help our cause. To stop the war on terror with the US being 1/25th of the world population we "need" cooperation from the world community. Every thing we do to damage that helps breed terrorism. The US military and intelligence is doing their job to keep on guard which is good, but they are one part of the team. However, with that in mind, considering the overwhelming lethal power that the US military has, there is no nation in the world that would consider attacking the US unless they felt immminently threatened and that was their only recourse. More simply put, the US has the ball. They have had the ball since long before 911 and subsequently. Pre-emptive action using military force when one 'holds most of the cards' disgards wisdom im the face of danger and allows victory of fear over truth. It is folly on the basis of false ideology perpetuated by elite few who claim to have the best interest of Americans or the rest of the world in mind. It is the basic principles of our Constitution that Americans will fight and die for, not a good line of hypocritical BS and hominage to self-serving elite. whitehouse.gov Our form of government is only the best because it requires the best of us which includes wisdom in the face of danger." (smile) I shiver to think we have satellites in orbit that have lazer destroying capabilities that can also affect the weather, causing fires, floods and earthquakes. Science fiction stuff? I'm beginning to wonder. Santi
