Hawk a lot of what you say is true and a lot more is idealistic........ The only way everything could unfold the way you express is for USA to remain there in control for 100 years or more.....a colonial power sort of thing...like the British in India..... The Arabs left to their own devices will always revert back to their basic tribalism mentality or Bedou mentality... Examples are everywhere, look at Iran, western under the Shah and in USA's pocket...? until the Islamic crazies got in..... Jordan is closest to your ideal but it is a family Monarchy..., nothing to do with Democracy.... To really understand the Arab mindset one needs to read the "Seven Pillars of Wisdom" and watch "Lawrence" about 10 times... also must viewing "The Messenger" you are there for your own reasons and I respect that...but USA is there because there is no way for us to get out at this point in time without major GeoPolitical consequence of grave proportion... I have no problems with our being there "in force" but not for the reasons you are stating..... Keep up the good work Hawk... regards
