Tying up the country for Clinton's impeachment over a consensual affair was just idiotic. It showed how lacking in judgment and morality the Republicans were. It also allowed the setup for 911 to continue apparently unabated. Now that the impeachment bar has been lowered that far, even Republicans should be forced to cross it with their own 'leader.' After all, Dumbya has no coattails for them to ride on so what do they care? They finally managed to drop DeLay and do any of them care? It would be terrific, and fitting, if the midterm campaigns were based on Republican corruption, incompetence, lying and...IMPEACHMENT, REMOVAL, INDICTMENT and CONVICTION.
