It's the argument I've been using of late. OK we shouldn't be there, great, I agree, now what should we do about it today? There are an awful lot of folks who are certain Bush lied, yada, yada, yada, but when faced with that's great, what should we do now they have not even a little idea. Polls are bearing this out though with over half the country saying we shouldn't have gone to Iraq but almost 60% saying now that we are there we need to stay until the place is stable. It's really the far left who has taken over the party that is making all of the noise and it's the far left that is out of step with the majority of America. Until they realize that they aren't going to retake control anytime soon.

With that said our choice of leader will tell me if we can continue to control. We can not continue down the path of Delay and need to get back to the party of smaller government, etc that got us here. The folks in DC have lost their way IMO and are now no better then the Democrats of the 60's and 70's. If they insist on the graft and expansion of government then our time in power is in it's waning days IMO.
