How to End the Selling of Washington Great article.. Thanks for posting one where you and I can finally agree (assuming you concur with the comments in the article).. It's about money.. And fighting to have public financing of campaigns is going to have all kinds of opposition since so many different parties have corporate and economic interests in seeing costly political campaigns (media, lawyers, public relations firms.. etc). It's the same kind of fight that is being put up over the concept of a Flat Tax, or Federal Sales Tax replacing the Income Tax. Too many parochial interests exist who rely upon the current convoluted tax code... And it's a tragic mis-allocation of our national economic resources that impacts our productivity and competitiveness. Hawk
