I think you got most of it right. Of course the infanticide that came along with one-child rule is an abomination but the larger result may be a faster again population than even the US. There may be demographic problems for them down the road. US population growth thru immigration is really what saves us. I hope we are liberal in that regard and try to get the right mix of immigrants, especially security and talent wise. Mike
