Nice post, regli. I think this summarizes what could happen if the powers-that-be decide they need to pass out some "helicopter money" to Joe Public. The precedent of using unsolicited tax credits was established, so now it will come as no shock if it is used again. And IMO, the vast majority of that money was spent about a week after the checks were cashed.
