Now MM, assuming that the average Joe could setup a network that included appliances (with today's WiFi usability, forget it), how soon would it be before some kid in Belarus exploited a hole in Windows and turned your fridge off and washer on when you weren't home? Would you need to patch the code in your fridge periodically? Does that washer need to be running an anti-spam program at $30 bucks a year??

PS - You still looking at hybrids? The coming new EPA mileage test changes from what I have read will show that hybrids true city mileage will be substantially lower than shown in today's tests...
