soup- i see the hurricane coming... i know its power and danger... and i announce it to other sailors... but i don't attack it with full sails up... i avoid it (drinkin' and thinkin' on shore in the bar)... and i wait for the weather window that's conducive to sailing the route. it's comin'. and i'll be fresh and ready to sail when it gets here. you can be the best navigator in the world and the best sail handler too but you may not get there if you aren't a weatherman. the weather outside is frightful. have a beer. i'll tell you when the coast is clear. it won't be too much longer. -wxman
