Well, I don't know who that is. I think gas that high will cause multiple problems. Gas at $3 had people screaming. I think the cost of goods will go up, a tax that high is effectively an income tax because now folks that actually need those pickups and larger SUVs for work will be spending a disproportionitely large part of their pay on gasoline for basic transport with no offsetting benefit of an increased wage. People will travel less, flights will cost more, I only see that proposal as causing hardship with no real benefit.

Now, that is the real life side of things talking. Why don't you tell me why that side of the discussion is not relative due to the benefits to the overall budget, which joe average citizen has no comprehension of, and why fixing that, will directly benefit joe average citizen.
