I think it was safely implied in my response, since I did say Bush got it to $3 without a tax increase, that it was understood the oil companies got the profits. If you did not catch that, sorry, read slower. I will be clearer in the future and actually spell things out for you. You always post topics that are almost interesting until you lay all the blame along partisan lines. I think the Dems controlled the Whitehouse and Congress several times and had ample opportunity to push the legislation you dream of, but it did not happen. See it is people like you that are tiresome to talk to you can't see anything but red when it comes to Bush and nothing but roses when it comes any Dem politician out there.
